A hand collected Yooperlite, collected by Erik Rintamaki himself!
Have you watched my Reel featuring Erik on Instagram? I ran into him at the Tucson Gem Show and just had to bring back some of these magical finds for you all.
Each Yooperlite flouresces in its own unique way. Each one is different, and you will receive one at random with a UV keychain to show your family and friends this neat reaction!
Yooperlites were found just a few years ago, in 2017, around Lake Superior, by accident! Erik was out looking for agates and stumbled across this new find. They are named Yooperlites as a play off the “Upper Peninsula” or “U-P” which is where they’re found.
These are a must have in any rockhounders collection, especially since they’re a newer find!
